I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Taylor Corporation in Nov 2024
Interview
Applied online. Had a screening interview with an HR representative. Moved on to an in-person interview with the manager. Then had a virtual Teams interview with the department head. Then another Teams interview with the same department head and another one who is at a different location. Process took 2 months from initial application to offer.
The interview process was smooth. It was a three part interview & each person I spoke with was very welcoming and all interviews were not too difficult, but not too hard and it was very informational.

Question 1
Q: What is your experience with Excel?
Q: How would you go about handling a situation with a tough co-worker or company?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Taylor Corporation (Arden Hills, MN) in Aug 2024
Interview
Three rounds: two virtual and final on-site (one interviewer in-person and another virtual). First was with HR, second was with prospective supervisor, final was with two director/Sr. management people.
I was surprised that for my in-person interview, both prospective colleagues were dressed very casually (graphic tee and jeans for the on-site colleague). Office was average for a small business, tall cloth cubicles and no major amenities on-site or nearby, with the expectation of hybrid 3/2 in-office/remote arrangement.
Salary range was communicated during the interview process as $75-95k, however I was offered $65,000 with no flexibility on that number. I communicated that this was misleading and I would not have continued the candidacy process had that number been presented up front.
Offer was given over the phone, without supplementary materials such as benefits guide, anticipated start date, or formal offer letter. Although after the disappointing salary figure, no benefits could make up that shortcoming.
Interviews are informal and to the point. Sometimes with more than one person. They were open about answering my questions about the department/management team I was interviewing for. Overall, it wasn't a stressful interview process.
