I was interviewed for the Recruitment Manager role in Latvia in May, 2024, a process took several weeks. I was headhunted for the position and went through four interviews, two of which were conducted online and two in-person at their office.
The online interviews were conducted very professionally. However, the in-person interviews were less professional. In the fourth interview, I was unexpectedly considered for an HR position, despite my resume clearly indicating that I lack experience in that area. As a result, the interview lasted only 10-15 minutes. It became evident that my resume had not been reviewed before these in-person meetings. Additionally, during one of the interviews, the manager appeared distracted, frequently looking outside the door, which gave me the impression that there was little interest in my candidacy.
The company never provided feedback after the interviews. When I followed up, I learned from the recruiter that the position had not been filled.
