Technically question about HTML5,CSS3,Javascript,JQuery,LESS,SASS,Bootstarp. I would like to explain the process in more details, as it will be very helpful for other colleagues so that their time will not be wasted. HR told me that they are making some ROUND GLASS website. In the first round, the interviewee asked me technically question for about 45 mins, out of which I gave around 90% answers correct. Then I got a call from HR that you have cleared the first round. Now we will give you one assignment which you have to complete without using any third party jQuery plugins. I don't understand why these people ask for an assignment. I think these people don't have employees who can work on their own and they have found a new way of completing their task. I think their employees are not capable enough to judge a candidate by taking technical interview only. If you have taken the technical round for 45 minutes and still not capable enough of judging a candidate, then you have wasted your time as well as candidate's time also. Following tasks were mentioned in the assignment. Assignment1 1) Create responsive table without using bootstrap and using a single table. Please refer pic 1.1 2) Create same using div and without using third-party libraries. Assignment2 Design functionality Homepage Logo in the left corner Menu in the right The homepage is made up of slides. Slides See Home2.png and Ventures Details.png Open Ventures details.png on click of learning more of home2.png Each Details section is NOT a 100% design but has an inner scrollbar On click, if Investment philosophy open Wellbeing.png with slide down effect Menu Menus just act like anchors Anchor to slide details (Menu will get hide and detail page will get open with slide left effect - not 100%) Dev architecture Keep it clean and straightforward Possible 20 or 16 column grid to use Custom bootstrap config may be needed Slides Contains a static background image or video. They had given two assignment. In the first assignment, it was mentioned that make responsive tables. In second assignment it was a Single Page Application. We can say full website from UI perspective. They had not mentioned that it should also be responsive.I had completed the assignment on weekend days(2 days). I had covered all the scenarios as mentioned in the assignment.I had used all latest technologies(HTML5 structure, CSS3 animation, and transition, LESS preprocessor, Latest JQuery coding standards.) Then after submitting the assignment, I got a reply from HR that my profile has been rejected on a technical basis. When I asked about the reason (so that it will be helpful for me in future), I got the following reasons: 1. HTML is not responsive.(It was never mentioned in the assignment to make that page responsive and as per Agile we have to complete the assigned task only, other features are covered in next sprint.) 2. Menu not working in responsive mode.(It was also not mentioned in the assignment) 3. Layout is build using HTML and working fine for desktop(I don't think this is the reason for rejection) 4. Scroll to bottom is not implemented(I had created Bottom to Top functionality which is present in every application, never seen functionality like Top to Bottom. I had created Bottom to top functionality, so making the opposite functionality would have been also easy. Moreover, it was also not mentioned in the assignment). Now my friends, what they did is got the task done from me.Only 20% task was left that was making the page responsive. Now they might call you and ask for making the assignment responsive. I am damn sure they will do like this.Fool people, they are wasting the time of us. So please friends never get trap into there tricks.

Technically round questions were average, not that hard. Moreover, I had given the assignment on time.
