I was approached by a recruiter for an Infrastructure Engineer position in Telemetry in London. Initially I had a phone interview from a guy from United States, where Telemetry has offices. He called me just to know me and discuss about the job. At the end he told me that I had to take an on-line test. After the phone interview the recruiter sent me the link for the on-line test. It was a test designed by them with a time limit and the questions were related about Linux Admin, but more on the questions later. The next the recruiter replied that they were impressed by my answers, although I didn't finished all of them, and they wanted to do another on-line test. This was 1-hour Codility test, where I had to write three small programs in the language I was familiar. More on these programs later. The recruiter replied after 3 or 4 days and told me that they would like to have a face-to-face interview in their offices. I had an interview with the director, who was also one of the cofounders. We talked about my approaches on the Codility test and told me that I had not answered correctly in one of them, so I had to take one 1-hour Codility test there in order to find the correct solution and solve another one. When I finished we discussed my solutions and some ways to make optimal. The recruiter sent me an offer after 3 weeks.
