I was contacted by an assistant to come in for an interview with the sales manager and HR manager after applying online. There office is nondescript on the outside, but alive on the inside. It was a pleasant first interview. They asked all the typical questions, as well as some curve-balls. They explained the environment, why they were looking, as well as what the expectations they had and what they needed. My second interview was with the President and the manager. The President seemed very unique – smart, caring and busy. I saw that he genuinely was concerned about his employees and that who he was hiring would work well in his team. After some time, we took a brief tour of the office. Then he took me to get lunch and on a tour of the warehouse facility. It was nice to see the operational side of the business; it gave me an overall feel for the whole company. After that, we spoke some more about his needs, the future vision of the company, how he wanted to get there and how I could help him.
