Interview
Very very lengthy interview process. The job description and title changed in the middle of the interview process and suddenly they wanted someone with more a communications background. Generally found the CEO arrogant. He did not even engage in a conversation with you when you are the candidate that he should be getting to know. The senior leadership team are all very traditional old school. Some did not show up while others left right on time, did not even offer a chance for the candidate to ask questions. This is a culture that lacks innovation and entrepreneurship. Pretty rigid and they don't seem to value the experience of their own music students. I don't think they have the right people with the forward thinking innovation and tech mindset to bring this organization to the 21st century.

With such as small group of qualified people to be students, how do you attract more people?
The interview was pretty simple. They were friendly and welcoming and asked about different aspects of SEO to assess knowledge and comfortability with different systems and programs. They also asked about relationship to the company and if there's any interest in what they do.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Royal Conservatory (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2022
Interview
The HR interview felt very redundant and not very helpful at all. The interview with the hiring manager was very lovely and quick. Very personable and professional and asked relevant questions regarding to the field of work.
