Oh where to begin. I apparently parked in the wrong parking lot and I was not allowed to come in the "Executive" doors, so I had to walk around the building in the snow as there was no more sidewalk left. (3 reserved spots for Wittern family members/Executives noticed). The receptionist wouldn't let me in the building until he finished his phone call. Then to get the conference room I got to see what I assume was the president's office. I kid you not, there was a stuffed bear or lion of something, green carpet, and DARK wood paneling. I got the feeling that it was the type of company where if you're not family, you won't get the same treatment/respect. The interview process was pretty standard and I really liked the team I interviewed with. On the shop tour I saw a rat, seriously. When meeting with HR, I was told 2 things: Fist was that she admitted the benefits weren't very good, and second that they do hire felons! I thought HR was supposed to impress you as to why to work there. She said retentions was better if she was upfront and honest. Needless to say I declined the offer. Pay was actually very generous though.
