      Customer Service Representative Interview

      Sep 19, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TherapyNotes in Sep 2024

      Interview

30 Minute Phone Screen with Recruiter - This was rescheduled at the recruiters request but the recruiter was super nice and apologetic so no big deal! The phone screen was pretty basic. 15 minute timed written assessment was sent to me about an hour after the call as promised. After the assessment I quickly got an email scheduling an interview with 2 customer service managers. This email had the wrong date in the body of the email but everyone showed up! So again no big deal! Also this email told me to dress to impress and to start a free trial and prepare to be asked questions about it. 1 hr video interview with 2 managers - I met with 2 managers at once who took turns asking me basic interview questions. I was overdressed and I spent 7 hours preparing for the interview, learning everything I could about the software and they didn't even ask me anything more than what did you find. Seemed they didn't even think I'd actually use the free trial. I thought it went extremely well though. It's a customer service role so I was willing to overlook the hiring chaos. I was told they would be in touch with next steps this week at the end of the interview Then I got a canned rejection email...from the same person who put the wrong date in the email and told me to do things to prepare that were not necessary or even appreciated. I responded asking for feedback because it went well and I am more than qualified for the role and of course no response. Seems I may have dodged a bullet. Which is so unfortunate! It's a cool product and I believe I genuinely would have liked providing support for it.
