I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tires Plus (Tampa, FL) in Apr 2010
Interview
Very quick interview process. Simply need to be out going and be able to show qualities of a sales person who excels at dealing with people.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
My stores water fountain is broken and it will cost me "x" amount to fix. You work for Coke and are trying to sell me a supply of Water Bottles for your store and your customers at "x" amount more then the repairs I need. Why should I choose you?
Hiring manager did not show up for interview. Called all contacts I had with no return call or email. Wasted entire morning for me. Their loss not mine. I at least expect an apology from the company.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Tires Plus (Des Moines, IA) in May 2016
Interview
I applied online and received an email requesting an interview in person. I met the (I think) regional manager in store after hours and did the interview after the niceties and introduction I was asked about my previous experience...they made me an offer on the spot
I applied online. I interviewed at Tires Plus (Oshkosh, WI)
Interview
Bait & Switch is the best way to describe it. The ad said they were hiring for an Auto Service Manager Position. I submitted my resume and applied online. Was called and interview scheduled. I showed up 5 minutes early and was left waiting for 15 minutes. Sat down in the office and was told they are looking for a Sales Team Member. I mentioned that the ad said Service Manager which is why I applied. They said Tires Plus promotes from within so you would start out as a Sales Team Member.
