HR person called me to select an interview time (virtual interview). They gave me 3 names of people I would be interviewing with and it was anywhere from 1-3 of those people. It ended up being with only one person, a GIS manager. Unfortunately he was working from home that day with no webcam so he did not have his camera on, but I did, so it was a bit awkward for me to talk to a black screen, but nevertheless, it was a good interview. Very casual chat where he spent most of the time talking about the role and then eased into "tell me about yourself", we chatted about my technical skills etc., then I asked questions at the end. None of the stuffy regular interview questions which was refreshing, it felt like a more organic conversation. He said that there would be a second interview with different managers which might be on-site or virtual. I sent a followup thank you email afterward but never heard back from them.
