I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Trade Republic (Berlin) in Jan 2024
Interview
1. The initial call with the technical recruiter was about my overall experience in Android and the roles and responsibilities at my current company.
2. The first technical interview was about Android's technical knowledge, i.e. Lifecycle, Architectures MVP & MVVM, Dependency Injection, RxJava and Coroutines, etc.
3. The second technical round was pair programming with the Android Engineer, I was asked to write unit tests for a function.
4. The final round was a Product Mindset interview. They asked me typical questions i.e. about my current company's software development lifecycle, conflicts with the manager etc.
5. The feedback call, I had a call with the technical recruiter about my performance in the interviews and why they rejected me in the last round.
Throughout these rounds, the interviewers were very professional and supportive. I enjoyed the whole interview process.
