      UX Designer Interview

      Sep 1, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Travel Counsellors in Aug 2025

      Interview

Personality test followed up by on site interview Pros: Quick scheduling and clear communication. Cons: Interview panel seemed unprepared and unfamiliar with submitted materials. Some team members were dismissive or overly critical. Requests for additional work felt unnecessary and more like reviewing ideas than evaluating skills. Unexpected multi-day assignment seemed excessive for an interview. Overall: The process felt unprofessional and not fully respectful of candidates’ time or experience.

Thank you for sharing your experience of your interview process. We’re pleased you found the scheduling and communication clear, as we always aim to keep things straightforward and transparent. We appreciate that this can feel like a big commitment, so we try to make sure expectations are clear from the outset. As a people-first business, we want every interaction to reflect the supportive and respectful culture we’re proud of. We’ll continue to refine our approach to ensure the experience is positive for candidates as well as informative for us. Please do reach out to us anytime and we would be really happy to arrange a call to discuss your experience further (sarah.foster@travelcounsellors.com) Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you the very best in your future career.
