UCI Campus Recreation interview questions

Interview Process started off with a screening with the assistant director and then continued to a 3 hour interview in person. First portion is an 18 question panel, then 30 minute interview with director, then 30 minute meet and greet, followed up with one on one situations with the assistant director. then tour of the facility. I was told I would hear back the following week but I did not hear anything for two weeks. I checked the status of my application on the UCI portal and it changed from under review to not moving forward. I was a bit upset as I sent thank you/follow up emails to both the assistant director and director with no response. I understand that school HR systems move slower but to not send even a rejection email left a bad taste in my mouth. Other than that, the interview experience was great and the people I met were very nice and welcoming. But if someone spends their whole day preparing for an interview and taking 3.5 hours of their time, the least you can do is send them an email regarding the status.

30 - 40 mins conversation with the manager in the office. Answering 6-8 questions. It was chill, I think it's good to be an interesting story teller so they are engaged with what you say. I feel they care more what kind of person you are, your personality, and what you bring.
