UK Management College interview questions

Interview with interviewer from the company and an HR rep online over Teams. Organised (I believe) through a recruiter. After the interview I received no word from the recruiter/college for over 3 weeks. They emailed me to apologise and offer me the position. I agreed to discuss the position over a call, then they emailed me back to enquire as to whether I had an IQA qualification. There was no mention of this in the job ad, or at the interview, and it's not on my CV which they already had. Total waste of time.

The process was fine, and it was conducted online. They asked me a couple of standard questions, such as how I would improve student engagement. The interview panel included the dean, two academics who appeared to be departmental managers, and an HR representative. It took them over three weeks to provide an offer, which is far from the competitive salary they advertised in the job description. It is below the industry average. Moreover, they did ask me to work on weekends sometimes, and in the offer, it stated that the annual leave is 28 days including the bank holiday and you need to take into consideration that they close during the christmas period.
