I applied online. I interviewed at UNDP (Abuja, Federal Capital Territory) in Jan 2012
Interview
The interview was held in Abuja the capital city of Nigeria. It was around in January which was the dry cold season. The temperature at the venue was freezing and they didn't other to turn it down which was our first source of discomfort. We were eight candidates invited for the interview and five members of the interviewer's panel. The interviewees were seated in an oval table and the interviewers sat on the a long table a little distant from us but facing us. They observed us most of the time, and also asked questions. They brought of topics for discussions among the interviewees. for example at what age do we suggest sex education for kids, what we think about the economic policy of the country, how would we handle crises at the work place. There was just two direct questions for each candidate. It was a very strange interview session.
