Interview
Find the listing for your specific location online, identify the Bulletin #, follow the steps for the application. Then find out the steps change, depending on where you look and who responds to inquiries. You might be told to wait for an application to be sent to you, or to download, complete, and send the application online, or to download and FedEx it, or not get a callback at all. There will be no confirmation that the application packet was received or is complete, Eventually you might get a call on the position, or not. Eventually you might simply get a call offering you the position, or to resubmit an item in the packet that has gone astray (4 times!) or hear nothing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Same as the application packet. Have you supervised, trained staff, approved time and payroll, followed a system for employee actions, terminated employees, etc. Are you willing and able to travel, work nights, weekends?
The interview process was very easy and straight forward. I completed the phone interview in about thirty minutes. The questions asked were very basic and to the point. The interview questions all revolved around verifying experience, qualifications, background and work availability.
