      Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at US Laboratories (Chelmsford, MA) in May 2018

      Interview

First is an in person interview with the manager of whatever branch you'll be assigned to. My experience was that she didn't ask any difficult or typical interview questions. She asked a few questions about my job experience and stressed that punctuality was important and that I would have to drive no matter how bad the weather was. It was like 15 minutes. We then moved to a different room where she had me perform a fake venipuncture with a stuffed arm. The interviewer will have a long checklist to make sure you do each thing. Dictate each small step verbally. Interviewer told me I would normally be meeting with HR after that, but HR was not there that day, so I had a later phone interview with HR. HR asked me the more typical interview questions and then offered me the job. You'll then need 2 full orientation days before starting. They'll look for a lot of emphasis that you love to work independently, and you'll have to pass a drug test, background search, and have a clean driving record.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at US Laboratories (Brockton, MA) in Jun 2017

      Interview

Applied online. Then a week later got a call from one of the managers, & did a on the phone interview, then was offered a face to face interview. There are 3 parts of the face to face. First you meet & talk with one of the hiring managers, she will ask you to tell her the order of draw, then you will do a mock blood draw, call her in fake outpatient room, go through name date of birth etc.. then do everything but actually stick her with the needle. After that you sit back down in waiting room with tons of others going for the same job. Then the manager you talked with on the phone brings you in & talks about the company, with rules etc.. then you go back in waiting room & wait for H.R to call you in to interview you, they ask you typical hr questions. Then tell you they will get back to you & let you know if they want to hire you or not. The initial head of H.R went on vacation so her substitute called me & offered job if I passed drug & back ground check.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at US Laboratories (Middletown, CT) in Jan 2014

      Interview

I was asked pretty basic phlebotomy questions, they even had you tell them the order of draw-which in this field is crucial. They asked to demonstrate blood draw without actually drawing blood. When I went they asked why I wanted to be a phlebotomist, if driving long distances and early morning times would bother me.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Can you describe a time where you had a difficult patient and how did you handle it? If there was no situation give how you WOULD handle it.
