I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Arlington, TX) in Dec 2024
Interview
My interview was very Straight forward, mostly focused on behavioral questions and almost no technical questions at all. I was offered a position which later got rescinded due to a federal hiring freeze at the time.
It was a strong conversation focused on major choice and how special skills can apply to the job. Additionally, they have a big emphasis on how extra-curriculars and research outside of academics has helped you. Strong focus on academic challenges as well.
