      Software Developer Interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Montreal, QC) in Jul 2019

      Interview

I heard about the job offer by a friend who was interviewing for a QA role and was referred to the Technical Recruiter. We scheduled a quick video call that lasted about 30 minutes. We discussed about my experience, what the job offer was and Unity in general. It was a very friendly chat and I was even invited to visit the office the next day. The next interview was with my future manager. I was explained what the product was, what my role was going to be. There was a couple of classic interview questions about myself and how I work. There was also a couple of technical questions. The last interview was very similar to the second one, except that it was onsite with another member of the team. They validated some of my technical skills and tried to see if I was a good fit for the team. I then received an offer and accepted it. All in all, the process was very simple and friendly. There was always someone keeping me in the loop and I had a lot of fun.
