A thorough interview process interfacing with both the team and the developers they support. Initial phone screening by HR reviewing my experience and typical HR type questions. This was followed a few days later by a video conference with the hiring manager, which covered my experience in slightly more detail, as well as behavioral questions. After this, there was a homework assignment to test knowledge and planning abilities. Following the assignment was a series of interviews with DevOps and Developers reviewing the project and making sure I had alternatives to my approach.
