Overall I think the hiring procedure is great. I believe most of the steps were truly needed to test my skills, however I think the required "recommendations" step should be optional or at least be in the beginning stages of the hiring process.

Question 1
I was asked to reply to a customer who said:
"Help, Unity crashes"
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Vilnius) in May 2021
Interview
There was quite a few stages:
First stage one was online cv submission.
Second stage was a phone interview 1:1.
Then was a home test. I needed to end a game.
After that there was another interview with other two people.
And the last step was filling a form with my professor and colleague contacts.

Interview
I've had two Interviews, one on the phone, second one online. Then I needed to give my references information. While I was in online interview there were two parts. First one only conversation, on the second part I showed my skill level. Overall all process was very interesting, interviewers were very fun and interesting.
