Urban Insight Drupal Developer interview questions

Started the process with an email questionnaire. Next was a video call with the CEO and COO. These meetings were very positive, and left me feeling very encouraged that this was a team I aspire to work alongside. Then was given an programming assignment. The deliverables were the code itself, and a live project link (which I was responsible for hosting myself). In my case, I opted to build a Drupal module to solve the problem but a minor bug, related to caching, was present on the live link. I was rejected on the spot with no feedback on the actual code. I promptly fixed the bug with the live link and sent a screencast demonstrating the working result. Have been ghosted ever since. Again, this remains a dedicated team that I do aspire to work alongside, but I feel this interview experience was a bit unreasonable. I understand the goal of striving for perfection, but minor issues can happen when deploying a live link to be used by multiple people, versus local development code. It seemed a little too “high stakes” to abruptly end the process without any meaningful feedback on the code itself, especially when I was told that I was an excellent culture fit, etc, in previous interviews.
