You need to build the app from scratch and be grilled on why it's imperfect. If interviewers are nitpicking on a project you worked on for 4 hours, without being provided any boilerplates, it's pretty much a red flag. As it shows the toxic characteristics of these interviewers/judges. - Walking through your take home project I personally wouldn't recommend working for Veed after this poor experience.

The interview process was very relaxed from the start and throughout. Consisted of a few different stages with various different people and a tech test. The tech test was well put together, enough complexity available to show what you can do but not overly difficult or algorithmic. The interview process was handled smoothly, I was kept up to date regularly and didn't have to wait very long between stages.

This one stung as I had lots of relevant domain experience and I was excited about the prospect on working on a product relevant to my history. I reached out to VEED about an open role and set up an interview. On the day instead of the person I was supposed to be talking to I got 2 engineers who told me they were dropped in impromptu. They did not seem comfortable conducting the session, at times it felt like I was interviewing them as I was the one mostly asking the questions. I got a cookie cutter rejection email a couple of hours later. I got in touch with the person I originally set the interview up with and asked for feedback, only to be ignored.
