Interview
This in no way reflects on the recruiting team.
The person who reached out to me was directly from the team I would have worked for. I’ve been in tech for many years and this was by far the most unprofessional interview experience I have ever been through. I am still shocked at some of the things that happened.
Take it from me, if someone reaches out saying they have an opportunity here, PASS. I cut the interview process short because I couldn’t imagine myself working for people like this. It was that bad.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Random and extremely vague, most questions had nothing to do with the position I was interviewing for. The titles of a couple of the people I interviewed with made no sense in regards to the role I was interviewing for. Seemed like I just got thrown on their calendar as a last minute inconvenience.
2 of my interviewers seemed uninterested, yawned & were clearly doing other work in the background as we were talking, had people laughing in the background & in general were extremely demeaning,
I want to emphasize that they reached out to me. I can’t imagine how they would treat someone who applied themselves. Absolutely unacceptable.
it was fine I didnt mind it. They did a good job asking questions and I answered them. It was not a good fit and I wish them well. I think they are fine without me and I am glad I didnt pursue the job. it all worked out in the end
