Started with a recruiter screen call, 1st interview on zoom with hiring manager, the proceeded to on site interviews, probably about 5, but overall a good well organized experience. There was a large focus on culture fit and performance management.

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Verkada (San Mateo, CA)

Week 1 - 30 mins phone screen with HR
Week 2 - 30 mins Zoom interview with hiring manager
Week 3 - 30 mins Zoom interview with peer
Week 6 - 3 hour on-site interview (30 mins with a person from finance team; 30 mins with a person from logistics team; 1 hour case study with hiring manager and peer that I previously zoom interviewed with; 1 hour lunch break with peers; 30 mins with head of department)
I'm very impressed by HR efficiency. they let me know the updates within 2 days each rounds after the interview. although interview was a long process I'll still rank as a positive experience.

- The interview with peer via Zoom: standard STAR questions. for example, tell me a time you implement a new process.
- The interviews with crossed functional team and hiring manager pretty much just went over my resume, and past experiences.
- The interview with head of department was a bit difficult. Open questions, scenario based questions.
- They sent over case study right after they confirmed the date of on site interview. It was about demand planning and forecast method.
