I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at View, Inc. (Milpitas, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
I have worked for 7 companies in my career in 3 different countries and this is the most unprofessional and uncivilized company that I have interviewed with. I read Glassdoor reviews a day before my interview and 2 people had shared the same experience for this role. Yet, I went ahead with an open mind - well, you always have a tiny hope when you are looking for a job.
My first round was a telephonic interview , the hiring manager did not turn up on the scheduled day. I waited 30 mins and reached out to my recruiter . (I was very disappointed right there, If only they understood the anxiety of job seekers). They rescheduled my telephonic interview. I was asked coding question and was able to solve . They called for a 1:1 interview the next day.
My 2nd round was with a lady who asked a couple of Coding and Testing questions . It went well - i was able to answer all her questions ( And, I was respected she did not insult or brag about herself)
My 3nd round of interview was with a lady. She was rude beyond words right from the word go. It seemed her intention was just to make me feel inferior and resorted to personal attack multiple times ! May be it is high time she understands that the candidates are also humans and might be more qualified than she is. No exaggeration - I literally parked my job hunting for a week after this excruciating experience ! Two sentences of hers that have been vibrating in my head - 1. "If you don't answer this question, I am rejecting you right away. " 2. " I don't think you can survive in Silicon Valley this way" !
My 4th round of interview was with the hiring manager. It was another disastrous experience. I reset my mind hoping the hiring manager would be more human. Again, I was wrong. He ranted on and on about what all he has achieved in life and how is so superior than every other technology person ever ! I remember one specific instance where he mentioned his GPA in engineering and asked mine ! Anyway, at this point in time, I had lost the confidence and courage to give back to them. I just gathered courage to survive till the end and get out all depressed.
My last round was with the HR and I was glad it was getting over!
I am now working in a Fortune 500 company at a much higher salary than View had offered. Job hunting is never easy and I wanted to write this feedback just to ensure that the next person who reads it at least knows what to expect.

Question 1
If only they asked technical questions and had the patience to listen to the answer !
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at View, Inc. (Milpitas, CA) in May 2017
Interview
The interviewer was totally unprofessional. The interview called at late in the evening after the working hours and seemed totally rude. I presume he didn't like the candidate and was very rude right from the moment he called. I have never faced someone who demeans Computer Engineers (he being one such). Kindly people applying to this company be wary of the recruiters as they do not reply to your emails and the whole recruitment is a joke and they do not care about the candidates and their mindset. Definitely a negative experience. People have a second thought before applying!
