First interview was casual and did not feel as though I was under a spotlight or being interrogated, as some past interviewers have made me feel. I was able to be myself, honest, straightforward and didn't feel pressed to provide on the spot or inaccurate information in order to be considered. The first interview, mutually, ran beyond the original hour that it was scheduled for. However, it was an honor to be provided the extended opportunity to continue speaking with Julie (VP of Product Safety & Regulatory Compliance). She was very knowledgeable and I looked forward to meeting her team members as well as getting the privilege to speak with her again. When I left my first interview, I had a spark that has reignited my passion to always continue to learn more and be the best I can be. It was also my pleasure, as well, to work with Nicole (HR Manager). From initial contact until the final communications, I experienced prompt replies, direct answeres (little to no fluff or filler), and was treated with great respect throughout the entire experience. I can't say enough good things about the individuals whom I spoke with! I was offered the opportunity for a second interview, which was scheduled promptly following my first. I had an email in my inbox before I even arrived home from my first. I was honored and excited to return and meet more of the team members at Vornado Air. Unfortunately, I received an offer from a different company that allowed me to work from home full time. This was both a blessing and a curse. I had to inform Nicole that I would no longer be able to continue the interview process, which was a very hard decision to make. But I was met with great respect, especially considering I accepted the offer from the other company the morning of my second interview with Vornado. I was only able to provide an hour, or so, notice to Nicole that I would not be able to attend the second interview. Most companies wouldn't have even bothered to reply to me at this point, but I received a very professional and prompt response that shows me that the individuals at Vornado Air take their jobs seriously and can do so with a positive outlook. 10/10 - At minimum, I can wholeheartedly say that if you were to ever be seeking employment and there is a job opportunity that fits your skillset and circumstances within Vornado, APPLY! I don't endorse many companies or individuals these days, but these individuals and entities have good morals and policies from my brief but enjoyable experience. They deserve some recognition, which is why I am taking the time to write such a lengthy review in a positive light. I wish nothing but the best for them and hope that if I'm ever seeking an employment opportunity again, that I may be considered as a potential candidate given a mutual fit for an open position is available in sync with my skillset.
