      Reporter Interview

      May 14, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Philadelphia, PA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at WPVI-TV (Philadelphia, PA)

      Interview

Started with a phone interview that was pretty informal. Next step, they flew me in to the station. I auditioned on- air in the studio with several anchors. Then I did one-on-one interviews with 12 managers! It was a lengthy process but I got the feeling the decision was going to be made by one person anyway. They flew me out a second time and I met with the general manager. Then I was offered the job via telephone the next day (after returning home)
