The interview itself was OK, but they asked me to design spreads for a fake article as well as a cover design. They only gave me a week to complete it, and because I didn't have a computer or internet at the time, I had to use a friend's computer with the necessary software, which was only available at limited times. Then I had to upload everything to Google Docs and because it was something I had not used before, again I had to ask a friend to help me. So after spending a good 25+ hours putting it all together, they ended up not hiring me, which is fine, I guess, but my work was absolutely up to their standards, and when I asked, they offered no feedback on why I wasn't hired, which after the whole application process and two interviews, was rude and unprofessional. Speaking of unprofessional, a number of years earlier my work was featured in the same magazine, and they wrongly credited someone else. When I asked for a correction, they refused, and I was unable to use the article as press for work I did.
