I applied online. I interviewed at Whova (San Diego, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
It was professional and well-structured I would say. It began with the interviewer introducing himself, followed by a standard "tell me about yourself" introduction from my side. The conversation focused on my previous work experience and the specific responsibilities I held in past roles.
One interesting turn in the interview was a deep dive into my UI/UX design experience for two specific projects on my portfolio. At first, I was a bit surprised to be asked about design principles for a video editing role, but the interviewer explained that for product tutorials and marketing videos, understanding how users interact with the interface is crucial for creating clear, effective content. His explanation was logical and gave me a better understanding of the team's high standards.

Interview
The interviewers were multi-staged. First interview was more behavioral but some questions quizzed on company founding knowledge which were unrelated to the role. Following stage interviews were 3 hours and I was test on hypothetical situations and had to answer questions in written form on a google doc.
