Interview
I had interviewed for entry level job as PHP developer in-campus in Sept, 2016. On day 1, the pre-placement talk was followed by an aptitude test which was to test candidates for three roles: PHP - SQL developer, a business development role and content writer. The pen and paper test was an amalgam of logical questions, quants, coding questions and behavioral questions (they give you a situation). I passed the test. Though, if my memory serves me right, there were some syntactical errors in my code but I do think I did very well answer the business related situational questions. On Day 2, shortlisted candidates were called. After some odd six long hours, my turn came and I was asked to introduce myself. This was my first interview so I was fumbling too much (which interviewer also pointed out to me later). It started off as resume-based interview but I failed to produce expected fundamental answers about my projects and after some technical questions which were followed by logical puzzles, my day was called; I didn't get to go for further technical rounds.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Macros in C, printing out patterns in C (because I told them my C skills are better than Java), some other fundamental questions about HTML, types of CSS, Can we embed PHP code into HTML code?, and some other technical questions I'm unable to recollect which followed project based questions asked first and foremost, and lastly some logical puzzles.
