    I worked at WisdmLabs

    Pros

Was a part of the development team here and was very happy with the atmosphere that surrounded us. People are very helpful and Mature. Got to learn a lot of things in PHP and WordPress due to WisdmLabs. Will definitely recommend people to work here.

    Cons

Timings can be an issue sometimes, but for the people who are dedicated enough to succeed will not find this a problem. As a Startup you won't get too many perks.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at WisdmLabs full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good training and helpful seniors they also provide extra training if you are willing to manage work and learning. Following technology standards tough it is upto the team lead how much it needs to be implemented. Flexible timings Open door policy Indoor games Salaries on time

    Cons

Cutting salaries for a few minutes which i think is useless. HR can just warn the employee and take a decision based on his/her behavior. No clear processes for work allotment causes stressful environment for developers and hampers the project delivery as well as code quality. No drawers in the office.

    Advice to Management

Need to look out for new technologies to be implemented along with the current one's. Need more tech documentation and reusability of code for faster implementation of future projects.

I worked at WisdmLabs full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great place to grow exponentially. Freedom to experiment with tactics, plans and strategies to meet targets/goals.

    Cons

Company is in the growth phase and has an almost flat structure. So if you are looking at scaling up position wise then it's difficult.

I worked at WisdmLabs full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The best reason to work here is that you will learn a lot during the course of project planning, development, testing and delivery phase. Each one is responsible for his/her own projects and communicate directly with client which is by far the best you can expect as it reduced iterations and miscommunications.

    Cons

Everyone is treated equally even if you worked hard or less across the year.

    Advice to Management

As keeping track of employees who are spending less working hours and warning them we should have also look for employees who have been work more than the expected hours throughout the week or month or even on Saturdays and Sundays to make sure they aren't stuck or overburdened with work.

    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at WisdmLabs full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The only few pros that I can list are: 1 - Games like Carrom and Table-tennis. 2 - Employee medical and life insurance. 3 - No working Saturday.

    Cons

This is a long list which would be even longer if you stay longer in this company. 1 - No good quality projects, all they have are small WordPress service projects. Which eventually decreases a developer's market value if they work long in these projects. 2 - All good employees are leaving the company because of the lack of growth. 4 - Compulsory 9:30 hours working day and pay cut if you fail to do so. Which is... really long considering the location of the office and the problematic public transport. 5 - 6 months of compulsory probation with minimal pay which any company can offer to an engineer. 6 - No job security, they either fire the employee after the probation period or extend their probation indefinitely if their performance is par. 7 - All employees are underpaid here, compared to the market standards. 8 - Management has two faces, they show you one where they sugarcoat everything they say to you, and they act with the other one in which they don't really care about you. 9 - The CEO abuses employees in front of everyone which makes the workplace pathetic. There have been many occurrences where he has gone beyond the limit by losing his temper and later apologies for his actions, but never really learns how to talk in a workplace. 10 - You will be promised a lot of things in here when you start working but in a little while you'll realize that you're actually losing your value by the kind of work you do here. 11 - The company policies are really bad like 9:30 working hours, 6 months probation with below par pay, 3 months notice period. I would not recommend anyone to work in Wisdmlabs. Especially to the experience holders.

    Advice to Management

1 - Assign delegate roles to the employee and the middle management. 2 - Don't push so much for the growth that the employee no longer feel that they are progressing too along with the company. 3 - Compare the company with the new startup companies where they care about the employees and the people love to work their, rather than comparing it with the Indian service giants like TCS and Infosys to strive for more... money.

I worked at WisdmLabs full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

A lot of challenging work ( Especially for freshers ) which indeed help to learn and grow along with the organisation. Promising appraisals based on your individual performance & how much value you have added to the organisation. Corporate benefits like Company Medical Insurance, Flexible working hours, Life Insurance, Maternity Leave, PPF Account, Yearly one outdoor trip, 30 Paid Leaves (18 Paid + 12... National Holidays ) in a calendar year + additionally Work From Home option is also offered. Salary is credited 100% on time. Founder Mr Rohan Thakare is a dynamic person in himself who was previously working with IBM & Convonix. I have closely worked with him when we were just 15 member team which now grew up to almost 150 members along with multiple offices within just 4 years of time. Open culture & freedom to talk even directly to top management like CTO & HR. Operations head Mr Rahul Gupte is a great person with more than 20 years of industry experience. His guidance and support are beyond comparisons. After the core management team, the immediate next level of mentors has really great domain expertise. Working under Sumit, Ashwin, Rohan, Uday, Bharat & Akshaya can really shape your career to the next level. Opportunity to attend WordPress & Moodle meetups like WordCamp & Moodle Moot. The cultural committee organises many cultural events all year the round.

    Cons

No on-site opportunity is the only one pointer I can list down at the moment under this category. But Looking at the expedite progress of WisdmLabs over the last 5 years I’m sure they will soon have an on-site development centre as well.

    Advice to Management

Few General Suggestions: Products vertical is working great but for services, we need to outbound our sales activity and also get bigger size projects. Arrange workshops for technical teams to improve their skill sets.
