Interview
Applied through company contact. Got a call for setting up phone interview with HR. It was set for one week later. The person who called me was very nice and the questions started with how is the weather and related stuff. Lots of behavioral questions were asked and the manager said my resume matches well for the job profile. The interview lasted for good 40mins. He also gave information about the company and overall a very nice experience talking.
For some reason i was not asked to come for the next round and the reason that was given is they found someone else who has more experience than me and also visa.

Nothing difficult but questions were like what would you do in this situation and that...next five year plan...why they must hire you etc.
Normal tell me about yourself, why do you want to work here, problem solving example, technical question specific to the area you interview for. HR phone screen, manager phone screen then in person interview on site
Multiple interview rounds, multiple interviews with heads of different departments as the last round. Interview process started with a phone recruiter, followed by a hiring manager, the Hiring Manager's manager, and then a final round with all the heads of the departments independently (4-5)

Technical Questions like about SPC, Troubleshooting tools, Working with multiple cross-functional teams, high-volume manufacturing environment.
First was a 15 minute phone call with HR followed up by a 45 minute interview with hiring manager. One more round of interviews after this if I had gotten through
