      Government Affairs Interview

      Apr 3, 2017
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Brussels
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at X (Brussels) in Jul 2016

      Interview

Several rounds of interviews by Skype (or equivalent) and a final interview in person. 1. HR 2. The direct supervisor 3. 2 colleagues both from the department and from another (but linked) department 4. The head of the team 5. Final interview with the supervisor in person The process is rather disorganised. You can either hear from them straight after an interview or not be contacted for months and it means literally nothing. Whenever contacted about delays, they apologise and say it has to do with internal issues. I was also told I would speak with the global team, but they decided to change the process while it was still running. I was informed I should dresses informally for the last interview but I realised when I got there that it was not necessarily the case... I felt it was all a bit vague, long (approximately 6 months, and then wanted someone to start straight away) and not necessarily very professional.

      Question 1

It was all about motivation, why Twitter, why this role and a lot of situational/competency based questions.
