From what I experienced during the interview process, Xalient felt like an awesome place to work. The whole process was longer than expected (from both sides) but we had constant communication and expectations were clearly set throughout. Like many interviews these days, there were multiple rounds of different things. Overall a really positive experience. A recruiter found me on LI and we built up a really great and open relationship during the process.
Round 1 - informal chat with hiring manager.
This was to see if my skills and values were aligned.
Round 2 - formal interview with hiring manager.
To go in to more depth than round 1, especially around tech skills.
Round 3 - team interview with hiring manager, head of service and senior salesperson.
This interview had stakeholders from the immediate close working departments. It was to ensure that I was a good fit not just for my team but across the business. This was a challenging interview as your answers and the way you come across, needs to aligned against multiple people/teams.
Round 4 - panel presentation (6/7 people), including members of the SLT/board.
Present an “about me” presentation and field a Q&A session from the SLT. Again this is all about culture and alignment. Xalient want the very best so do put you through your paces. You need to show you have the Xalient “DNA”!
