I initially contacted the PI about potential research in his group. Then we had some email exchanges about research projects. The we met in-person to discuss more about the future research projects. Offer was given shortly after. Post-offer processes went very smoothly.

Question 1
Describe your research plan. The PI provided inputs and eventually we found something that are of interest to both of us.
The interview was highly engaging and insightful. It featured thought-provoking and important questions that added depth to the discussion, making the experience both meaningful and enjoyable. The questions prompted reflection and encouraged a deeper understanding of key topics, leaving a positive impression and contributing significantly to the overall value.

Interview
The interview process is a multi-stage evaluation for hiring, moving candidates from application to job offer by assessing skills, experience, and cultural fit through steps like screening calls, skills tests, and various interviews (phone, video, in-person, panel) with HR, managers, and potential teammates, culminating in a final decision
Friendly, informative, and not a lot of technical questions. Took an online interview, and the experience was great. However, they want more senior candidates. I met with only one person from the office and didn't see the professor or PI.
