I applied online. I interviewed at York College (York, England)
Interview
The interview was very thorough, and what you would expect of a good screening for a competitive course. It was varied, from presentation to interview and tour of the building. It was a really enjoyable experience and only sad I was not able to take up the post due to lengthy processing and 0.9 contract meant it would have been an extremely tight budget to relocate. Questions asked were crucial to getting a fuller picture of what the appropriate candidate would bring to the role and it was clear that fitting in with a caring, ambitious department was essential. I felt challenged (rightly so) but it was also very encouraging and the panel were relevant. It was clear this would be an excellent team of people to work with.
