three weeks total time, application to interview. contacted for a phone interview that lasted about 45 minutes. not too hard, just checking qualifications and getting a feel for you. they told me they’d let me know if I’d get an interview by a certain day, which I did. went to an old styled building by a factory that was clearly outdated and in serious need of renovation. I’m talking cramped cubicle/ office styled space with dim lighting, old carpet, and a computer with a box on the back. I was given four different documents to fill out - an application, questionnaire, and two timed tests. copyright on each of them was literally in the 50s (maybe a decade earlier or later, my memory fails me but it was OLD). this took around an hour and a half alone. afterward I had the interview, where they asked culture and qualifications questions. good questions but they seemed to decide the interview was over before it was over and it showed. they asked questions about how I would improve their social media and website like it was a survey or I was a consultant (like in-depth and beyond interview standards)? everyone there seemed to be nice but they were looking for a certain type of person to fit the niche. told I was going to hear a decision in a week but that was three weeks ago. for the best, I found a better job set in 2019 and not 1970...
