I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at cargo.one in Jan 2024
Interview
This is the second time I tried, the first time was a very good experience but this time was not.
There're some interviewers that they behave in a way different way (I'd say almost emotional) than other who are more of a rational ones. This last time I had the first ones and I think this hurts the company image.
The process was challenging with quite a lot of rounds of interviews but overall a great experience. 1st interview was with the recruiter to discuss general information about the role and my qualifications. 2nd interview with the Engineering manager was purely technical going through some JS questions (no live coding was involved). After the 2nd interview, I had a home assignment to finish which had to be done in 4 hours max, which by the way was a very helpful thing for me since if you leave a large period of time it tends to get out of hand. 3rd interview talking about the home assignment and some more technical discussion with Senior engineer. 4th interview with Product manager to see if me and the company share the same values. To finish the process I had 2 meeting with my new team and my new direct manager so that we can get to know each other, which was another great thing I saw in the process. I really loved those 2 final informal meetings, cause you can get a real feeling of how your work life will be in the company.
