I applied online and had an initial interview with a recruiter, followed by a case study assignment. I completed the case study while traveling on vacation, putting significant effort into it, but after submission, I received a rejection with no explanation or feedback.
For a leadership position, this felt like a poor candidate experience. Providing at least brief feedback especially after asking for substantial work would demonstrate respect for candidates’ time and effort. The process felt transactional rather than reflective of a company looking for senior talent.
