I called the Director to inquire about openings. Next, I met with the Director of Group Fitness for a quick chat. About 2 weeks later I "auditioned" for the position by presenting a snapshot of a typical workout. During this audition, the Director asked questions regarding technique and how I would approach certain situations within a group fitness class.
