Coyote with his wares, Acme Electric -- a subsidiary of Actuant -- makes power conversion equipment for electronic and electrical systems. Products include low voltage transformers, toroidal transformers, inverters, and DC power supplies for general power distribution, factory automation, medical, and lighting applications. The company also makes custom electronics products for OEMs and provides private-label backup power supplies. Acme Electric sold its Aerospace division (batteries, battery chargers, power supplies, and design and support services) to TransDigm in 2009.
