Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is not just for techies. The two-year college offers about 200 degree, diploma, certificate, and apprentice programs to more than 45,000 students, the majority of whom attend part-time. The school also offers pre-college education for students seeking a high school diploma or preparing for college-level studies, and short-term, entry-level occupational training. Academic divisions include business, liberal arts and sciences, graphic arts, television/video production, culinary and hospitality, and health occupations. Established in 1912, MATC has four campuses in and around Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
