Description Marist College has a enrollment of more than 5,700 full- and part-time students. It offers more than 30 bachelor's and more than 10 master's programs, as well as some 20 certificate programs. It seven schools specialize in communication and the arts, computer science and math, continuing education, liberal arts, management, science, and social and behavioral sciences. In addition to its main along the eastern shore of the Hudson River, in Poughkeepsie, New York, the college has four off-campus extension sites that mainly cater to adult students. Marist College was founded in 1929 as a training center for the brothers of the Roman Catholic Marist order.
