Mission The mission of Bellamy and Watson Fields is to minimize the impact and slow the progression of degenerative dementia diseases (Alzheimer’s and others) and other chronic conditions of aging.
By doing so, the quality of the resident’s life is enhanced, family bonds are prolonged and new relationships are formed. The therapeutic communities employ a bio-psycho-social approach popularized during the early 1980s when Dr. Hopkins was helping to develop New England’s first geriatric psychiatry program in a community hospital.
Description Bellamy Fields was built in 2005, and due to success and need, Watson Fields opened in 2009. As specific needs and demands in the industry have evolved, so have our facilities. Bellamy Fields now is focused on Dementia, Alzheimer's, and other memory care diseases and issues, while Watson Fields specializes in Palliative and Hospice Care. One thing that has not changed is "The Fields" integration of hospitality at both facilities. Hospitality extends beyond the residents to their families and loved ones - we strive to provide a comforting professional yet informal atmosphere where guests are greeted warmly and treated like family.
