Description Here comes the sun, here comes the sun, and Solaria says, it's no-fuel, no-emissions energy. Solaria provides research and engineering services, designs new products, and develops manufacturing processes for solar product makers. The company also makes custom and standard photovoltaic (PV) modules that convert sunlight into electricity. Solaria was established in 1998. The company has raised $77 million in private equity funding from Moser Baer India Ltd., NGEN Partners, Q-Cells, and Sigma Partners. In 2007 Q-Cells, which owns one-third of Solaria, signed a long-term supply agreement with the company to provide solar cells for Solaria's PV modules.
