Light Tower Rentals, Inc. (LTR) was formed by John Avary and Ted Hogan in November of 1994 for the initial purpose of renting self-contained lighting equipment for use at oilfield job sites. By the end of 2007, the company had grown to over 80 employees in seven locations across Texas and New Mexico.
In January 2008, Clairvest Group Inc. (a Canadian merchant bank) and McKenna Gale Capital (a Canadian lender) provided the necessary capital to expand the company’s operations.
Today, LTR services 11 states with 500+ employees. We have become the leader in Natural Gas Generator rentals for drilling rigs. Our most recent acquisitions have moved us into Oilfield Water Management with the ability to deliver water to rig sites over great distances from supply sources without the use of expensive trucks. And, of course, we rent Light Towers, Diesel Generators and much more.
