Incorporated in 1950, The Penray Companies continue to grow strong after 60 years of service in the heavy-duty and automotive chemical industry. There are two main plants located in Elk Grove Village and Wheeling Illinois. Penray is comprised of four separate business units: heavy-duty, automotive, export, and custom manufacturing.
The heavy-duty division is known as Power Fleet which markets the Pencool® brand. These products are the most respected in the industry and include antifreeze inhibitors, supplemental coolant additives, diesel fuel additives, advanced Need-Release® extended service interval coolant filters.
The automotive division manufactures and markets several lines of products. The first, Penray Performance™ brand, is engineered for use by professional maintenance and repair technicians. The Penray Plus™ brand is packaged for retail with the do-it yourself customer in mind. They are regarded as high quality product lines in the industry and have loyal customer followings.
