I worked at Screen Pilot full-time (More than a year)
- The company is on the right track with the right vision and a great leadership team. They have managed to maintain their focus on employee wellness and culture even as the company looks to expand. Credit has to go to Tom (CEO) and the leadership team for all the work they put in.
-Good pay, great benefits and additional perks (team days, dog-friendly office, paid volunteer days, professional growth stipend.)
- Excellent training and growth opportunities.
- There is a real sense of transparency and honesty amongst the group which stems from management. Monthly 'Town Hall' meetings and frequent company-wide updates make you feel like an integral part of the project.
-Kind, thoughtful, intelligent group striving for personal and professional growth together.
- Perfect downtown location with a gorgeous rooftop patio!
Barely any. It can be hard to concentrate in the office at times, but there are plenty of private rooms/additional spaces if you need to break away and focus. Also, be warned it is a fast-paced environment which can be testing during peak periods.
Advice to Management
Continue to invest in your best talent and look to improve SP labs where possible. Most of all, keep up the great work!!
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Screen Pilot (Denver, CO) in April 2018.
After a quick screening phone call, I was asked to come into the office for an in-person interview. I sat down for the interview and was given a questionnaire testing my basic SEM knowledge (questions to follow). Then, I chatted with three members of the team. None of them seemed very interested in being there from the get-go (one guy refused to look at anything but his own feet during the entire interview. He didn't say anything, and was obviously not listening when I asked him questions).
I was then toured around the office, where the person I was with kept expressing how "great" the culture is, and explained to me that having an Xbox in the office was indicative of good company culture.
Despite interviewing in person, I was never called or emailed a followup, which felt very unprofessional to me.
