I have been working at Targetbase full-time (More than 10 years)
I have been with Targetbase for nearly 12 years, which I think speaks volumes about an agency. It's well known that agency life is known for short tenures and that's quite the opposite with Targetbase...many people here have a tenure on par with or much longer than mine.
This is a fantastic place to learn about a wide variety of industries and techniques, specifically if you are the type of person that takes initiative and is proactive.
As for how this company treats it's employees, I can't say enough good things. They truly care about their employees and try their hardest to be accommodating of peoples different schedules and lifestyles. As the saying goes, as long as the work is getting done, nothing else really matters. They have also been highly proactive at having company parties and gatherings.
I don't have a lot of bad things to say, so if I had to come up with a couple, they would be...
There isn't a lot of dedicated time to training. We try our best, but it's a fast paced environment, so hand-holding is not what we are best at. You have to be proactive.
As with any agency, some accounts can be very exciting to work on and some can be fairly mundane. That is mostly driven by the client. But, on the plus side, there is always opportunity to switch from account to account.
Advice to Management
Increase dedicated time away from account work for training.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Targetbase (Dallas, TX) in September 2015.
fairly standard, just know your resume really well. Be confident in your answers an everything should go just fine. Everyone was very nice and very straight forward in what they were looking for and what the job required to be sucsussful
